Inactive except to look for art

I rediscovered Deviantart after being busy for several months, and I'm writing this during the busiest part of my semester for some reason. I've been too caught up with college to even get back to Tapastic, and I've been inactive here for a long time. I should tell you that I will continue to be inactive, and I won't be getting back on board with Deviantart for a very long time. Besides hearing about Deviantart's taking advantage of their right to use artists' work to sell it without their permission whenever they need some money, I've just moved away from it over time. I probably won't have enough time to spend hours on Deviantart or Tapastic after college, because I've got to get a career started as soon as possible and I'll be in debt until I do. I'm not even sure what I'd do in the long term if I actually came back after all this. This is goodbye for the foreseeable future.

It's been a surprisingly long time since I've done anything on here, because I've been doing a lot of other stuff. I'm updating my profile now just to get something new on it, but I'm in the middle of a huge project for Data Management class, and I don't have a lot of free time, and even less to spend on DA. I might free up my schedule enough to do something next month, but that's unlikely. After this CPT is finished, I'll have to study for 3 exams in june, and I'll probably be busy all of the time during the summer. I'll see if I can spend any time here, but this post will stay here until I can.

I came back and remembered about my plan to upload lots of sketches. Got overwhelmed with stuff for a few months and didn't look at it, and now it's already the month of submissions. Lately, I've been playing with stick figure animation and 3-point perspective, and I'm looking to finish a few example drawings for a college open house next saturday. It won't be as much work as doing ten drawings for that time, but I still need 4. Today, I thought of getting started on blender, and I actually made a still scene with objects and textures. Once rigging gets easier, I'll try actually animating, and if I can get any drawings or renderings done, I'll upload them to make up for lost time. I also need to stop staying up hours after midnight like I am now, so I can get work done on stuff during the day xD That's the only update for now

So I decided I might as well post it here, because if not then I won't ever say it. As of 12 days ago, I'm 18, and some things are different. I'm definitely going for animation in college, and I finally have a watch to keep track of the time during commutes. I'll have to start paying for my own stuff, so here goes the last of my idleness. Now preparing for college applications is going to take my priority, and art will remain #1, before games, browsing, and even fitness. Things should go well if I practice often and learn. I'll be posting some art on here, and links to the animations I'll be making with blender between doing actual drawing and other work. Here's to a new year. It's definitely a time of renewal, at least for me. Cheers ^^
